Welcome to the Silver Hawk Booster Club!

 

Another year of school is upon us, and I, along with my fellow board members, are excited for the year to begin! Last year was a year most will never forget and came with it's own set of challenges, however; your students at Lincoln Southwest High School are amazing young people! It is with their contagious enthusiasm for school, sports and activities, we, as parents, teachers and leaders, will do everything possible to make their experiences at LSW, into memories that will last a lifetime.

 

The mission of the Silver Hawk Booster Club is to support our students and our school. We support the students, performing arts, athletics and school through funding, volunteer hours and promoting our school within the Lincoln Community.

 

The Silver Hawk Booster Club is a major partner with all of our school’s programs and we are again asking for your continued help in supporting our students and the various school programs. The Silver Hawk Booster Club was able to give LSW additional funding this past year, spread across a wide range of needs that the school is not able to meet with its budgeting concerns.

On behalf of the Silver Hawk Booster Club, I would like to encourage you to join or renew your membership at this time. I would also encourage you to become involved with the Silver Hawk Booster Club; share your time and talents as a member of the board or a committee member, volunteer in the booster store or volunteer your time to help with your son or daughter’s activities.

​

As a parent and also having our last child attend LSW, I encourage new parents and seasoned parents to get involved with the boosters and/or your child’s activities. Each of my children have been involved with a variety of sports, performing arts and extracurricular activities during their time at LSW. Volunteering my time with each of their interests has been just as rewarding for me as it has been for them. A community of parents is formed, not from being at one school, but from the common goal of student success.
