Letter Jacket Specifics
Below are the items listed below for ordering a letter jacket. We highly recommend that students try on letter jackets for sizing.
STYLE OPTIONS There are 4 style options. The grey sailor option is reserved exclusively for the Emeralds & Cheerleading teams. Sizes range from XS - 3XL, & all sizes are available in talls (longer sleeve & body).

You can always add to your letter jacket, but rarely can you take if off without damaging the jacket. If you're hesitant about something,

SEW ON LETTER Your letter is sewn on your letter jacket. If you have earned more than one letter, we only sew on one letter (the other is for you to keep). If you have lettered in more than one area & want to be recognized for both, we can add a ribbon onto your letter. (click here for ribbon options) Adding a ribbon to your letter is also an option.
ADD YOUR NAME Options include: First name, Last name, Full name, or Nickname (must be appropriate for school setting). Your name can added in either script or block font.
GRADUATION YEAR Include your graduation year on left sleeve. This comes in both small & large, but based on proportions, we recommend the following (XS/Sm - small year, Med - could be either, L/XL/2XL/3XL - large year).
Do NOT add this to your letter jacket unless you're 100% positive that you want it, especially if you have leather sleeves. Removing this from leather will damage the jacket.
CHEVRON A person can earn one chevron for every year that they have lettered in something; it does not matter if you've lettered once that year or 4 times, you can only earn one per year. So the maximum number of chevrons a student can get at LSW is 4. Chevrons are sewn on the opposite sleeve of the year. They come with both a gray outline or green outline - which is personal preference of the individual. We recommend taking into consideration the sleeve color when determining the gray vs. green outline chevrons. Similar to the year, do NOT add this to your letter jacket unless you're 100% positive that you want it. (*If you're 100% sure that you will be lettering again that year, we do allow you to add that chevron so that you don't need to bring your letter jacket in again)

CHENILLE A chenille goes on the top back of a crew jacket or on the collar of the sailor jacket. We have 3 generic chenilles - Southwest, Southwest with a Silver Hawks tail, or Silver Hawks. We also have chenilles specific based on activity. (Please note: If you choose the activity, you will not want to duplicate noting your achievements with embroidery. Also, as of right now the students are either choosing Emeralds, Cheerleader, or one of the 3 generic chenilles.)
ACTIVITY EMBROIDERY List the areas that you have lettered in either block or script font. (*Font style can be different than the front style of the name on the front)
